Clicking in the right stick will glory kill the demon, causing them to drop some health and you to get a little blood on your hands. They will start to blink white if you are far away, but once you get close enough they will blink orange, and its time to go.
Glory Kills: When an enemy has just about had enough, it's really time to rip and tear into them. The chainsaw will only recharge up to one, and small enemies give out the same amount of ammo as large enemies, so it is much more efficient to chainsaw 3 smaller enemies vs 1 big one (though sometimes you just may need some space) Don't buy into the trap! it is very rare you will ever need to chainsaw a large enemy and waste 3 cans of gas. It can hold up to three gas charges, it will cost you one gas to chainsaw a smaller enemy and 3 to chainsaw the larger ones. Chainsaws Away: Your Chainsaw is your main source of ammo, meaning using it will be important if you enjoy using your guns to kill some demons (You Will). Bonus armor is also awarded when you glory kill a demon that is on fire. Since each enemy only drops a few pieces of armor, your biggest pay off is using it on bigger crowds of enemies. 
The Flame Belch will drop Armor over time but the armor it drops isn't very useful unless you hit multiple enemies. The key to a successful flame belch is ensuring it hits AT MINIMUM 3 enemies. Utilize the Flame Belch: The Flame belch is essential to staying alive during combat with demons, but the problem is if used improperly, is all risk and no reward.
